Dating from 1900 and opened in 2003, the San Gallo Palace Hotel takes its name from the medieval gateway marking the Florence nobleman's entrance to the city. It contains 56 modern guestrooms in warm colours with smart traditional decor and dark wood furnishings; all extend to marble bathrooms with telephones and hair dryers.
