Originally a fifteenth century Franciscan monastery, this hotel is built in the traditional and elegant "palazzo" style and is centrally located, a few steps away from the Santa Maria Novella square. The lobby is medium in size, elegant and efficient. The common areas have been recently renovated and are tastefully decorated with original coffered ceiling, cross vaults, stone archers and pillars. Next to the lobby area there is also a patio which mantains.the main features of the original Francescan cloister and has a big whirlpool open all year round. All the rooms have been recently renovated and are of a very high standard. The bathrooms are large, furnished with precious marble and supplied with radio, telephone and hair-dryer.
