The Gallery Art Hotel occupies a fifteenth century Renaissance style palazzo. It is located in a quiet courtyard off the busy Lungarno Street which offers a very serene and quiet setting, right next to the Ponte Vecchio. Completely redesigned, the lobby is medium sized with a marble floor and white plaster walls featuring many sketches and paintings by prominent local artists. Simple but extremely comfortable, all guestrooms have polished dark parquet flooring, white plaster walls with black borders and white bedspreads. This two tone effect works very well and helps to make this hotel completely unique. There is no restaurant available but the breakfast room is on ground floor and contains soft white leather seating and glass tables. It offers a substantial cold buffet every morning.
