The Hotel De La Pace is housed in a 19th century Florentine palazzo with a cream coloured facade. The medium sized lobby has marble floors covered with Persian rugs. There is also a comfortable sitting with white sofas and coffee tables surrounded by plants and flowers. The 42 elegant yet comfortable guestrooms feature terracotta floors, cream walls and co-ordinated bedspreads. Breakfast consists of a buffet of sweet and savoury foods, served in the hotel’s large, picturesque dining room, which is decorated with Florentine prints and antique paintings of the city. The American Bar also offers a refined yet comfortable ambience in which to relax with a drink or a light meal.
