The Columbus Hotel is housed in a modern, 5-storey building, which none the less blends in well with the surrounding architecture. The large lobby and the other public areas are interconnected. All have marble floors and huge windows, covered with diaphanous white curtains, which create a bright, welcoming atmosphere. The lounge features floral cloth sofas, armchairs, potted plants and reading lamps. The medium sized guestrooms are decorated in a simple and pleasant style. Each room has a small private balcony, some of which overlook the River Arno. Situated on the ground floor, the spacious restaurant features a red marble floor and a cream colour scheme. It offers a good range of regional and international cuisine.
