The Hotel Accademia is housed in a 14th century building that has preserved all the atmosphere and allure of medieval Florence, with its Carrara marble floors, ancient window panes and plain furniture. The 20 guestrooms are all furnished with typically Florentine taste and elegance, featuring wooden furniture, co-ordinated fabrics, individual colour schemes, large windows and luxurious finishing touches. The floors are in warm parquet wood and the marble bathrooms are kept in good condition. The breakfast room, on the ground floor, is a relaxing, sophisticated space with a large stone fireplace, where a Continental buffet breakfast is served each morning.
