Florence - City Tax

From 1st July 2011 the city of Florence is introducing a new city tax.

This tax is to be paid by visitors before the end of their stay DIRECTLY to the hotel.

The fee of €1 per star rating per day will apply:

• 1 star hotel: €1 per day
  
• 2 stars hotel: €2 per day
  
• 3 stars hotel: €3 per day
  
• 4 stars hotel: €4 per day
  
• 5 stars hotel: €5 per day
  

The tax is per person per day and will be applied for a maximum of 10 days. Children under 10 years are exempt.

PLEASE NOTE that these prices are correct for 2011. They may change in subsquent years.
